I've got precisely the same problemâexcept that multiple reboots have done nothing. Any advice for me, Dropbox folks?

2 years agoHey worldmatt - sorry to hear about this.
Could you please clarify the version of your computer's OS, and the version and status of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your menu bar?
A screenshot of the options you get when you right click on files in your Dropbox folder would also help, so feel free to send one as well.

Sure thing! I'm running: Sonoma 14.5 on an M3 MacBook Pro. The Dropbox app is version 204.3.5363, and it's running in my menu bar. And here's a screenshot just now of the right-click menu in a Dropbox folder:
I should add that syncing seems totally fine! But those missing menu items are driving me crazy. I have turned on full-disk access and OK'd extensions and everything. Help!

Thanks for the additional information and the screenshot too worldmatt
It seems that you're on the beta version of the app. Could you try the latest, stable one from this page and let me know if this persists?
Just note that you'll need to toggle off the early releases from your account's settings first.

I have the same problem and have also reverted to the latest stable version. It used to work fine, but all of my dropbox right click options have been missing for a few days. I have uninstalled dropbox and reinstalled it as well as multiple restarts. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

Hey right click, thanks for posting here!
Have you tried relaunching your Finder using the steps found here? If not, can you give it a go?
Let me know!

Hey right click, can you please also check if the Dropbox system extension is enabled in your settings here?

Thanks for trying out these options, right click! You didnât mention if this occurred after a specific Dropbox/OS update.
I can also see in our system youâve been in touch with our support team; please check their email as well, when you get the chance.

I am not really sure.. It was working fine, then 2 or three weeks ago it disappeared. Dropbox updates automatically and I can't say that I pay attention to when it updates.
