Dropbox Sync Gobbling up Bandwidth

Hi,

I'd like to manage drop box Bandwidth usage. Any solutions?

Its currently gobbling up lots of bandwidth which maxes out my current capacity

Best

  • Hey Githaiga - hope this finds you well!

First step here would be to change your bandwidth settings . To do so:

    1. Click the Dropbox icon from the system tray or menu bar (or right-click, on Linux).
    2. Click the gear icon (Windows and Mac), then select Preferences…
    3. Click Bandwidth (Windows or Linux).
      • On a Mac, click Network and then click Change settings… in the Bandwidth section.
    4. You can manually adjust the bandwidth settings with the button next to Limit to under the Download rate or Upload rate sections.
    5. Enter the rates you prefer to continue.

I hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else. Cheers!
