- Dear Hannah, Other apps like YouTube and news link are showing thumbnail image with the subject title no issue except dropbox which usually shows the image/pic then the url link below, but since 22 Aug 2024, the image preview in whatsapp from dropbox image is showing blank.
- It's not solved, I am having this blank thumbnail image, when I sent to whatsapp with the dropbox link. It happened since 21 Aug 24. When is dropbox going to fix this issue?
Yes, only dropbox is not working well to show the preview thumbnail image, other apps are working fine sending their url link within whatsapp. When is dropbox going to address this issue, I been having this problem since 21 Aug 24.

Which Dropbox platform are you using to generate your transfers? If you’re using the website or the mobile app, have you cleared their cache?
If yes, have you also cleared WhatsApp’s cache?
Do you use any other third-party apps for generating similar links? If yes, is the thumbnail not working only with Dropbox?

If Dropbox link previews or thumbnails aren’t displaying correctly—especially in WhatsApp—it might help to first determine if this issue happens across all platforms, like the Dropbox website or mobile app. Clearing the cache on the platform you're using, as well as in WhatsApp, often resolves preview issues by refreshing stored data. If you also use other cloud services, try sharing a similar link from those to see if the problem is unique to Dropbox.
