File name changed when uploading to a Dropbox Request
I was logged into my account and uploaded a file to a requested folder link. However, when I got the upload confirmation email, it added my name to into the file name. I needed to have it named in a ...

Oh wow. I had no idea. Thanks. So to avoid this, is it better not to be logged in? I like getting the confirmation email, but canât risk file name being changed.

If you're not signed in you'll be prompted to enter a name and won't be able to upload without entering one. Upon upload, your name will be added to the filename just as if you were signed in.
You can't avoid the file being renamed. The recipient will need to rename the file to remove your name after the upload.
