file request email not being sent

I create a file request and supply a valid email address.  I get the message that I've created a new file request but the

email requesting the file is not sent (or at least it is not received).  I've sent requests to a second email address and it isd not

received either.   This is a new problem.  Thanks for any help.

  • Thank you Walter for your assistance.  It turns out it was "user error". I wanted to SEND a request for a file and assumed when I

    put the email address in and hit DONE it would do that.  I didn't really understand what it is to SHARE a request so for a while I didn't hit that button. When I finally did, voilla! it got SENT.  I humbly suggest that the button be relabled  SEND .

    Hi there NancyB12; welcome to our Community and sorry to hear you're having issues with sending out file requests.

     

    Can you please let me know if you get any different results on another browser?

     

    If the issue persists and you get an error along the way, please send me a screenshot so I can have a visual too.

    My colleague is not getting my file request. I have tried two different email accounts for him. How do I diagnose this?
