It looks indeed like the Dropbox icon is missing from your Mac's doc. Would you mind clarifying the app's current syncing status?
Have you tried uninstalling the app, restarting the device and re-installing it by any chance?

yes it is running and I can access it from there but I cant attach a file to an email etc. or download and save something to DropBox from there

1 year agoCould you explain exactly what you mean by attaching a file? What error are you getting when trying to do so?
Are the files showing up as local with a green syncing icon?
