How can I hide users with who I've shared files with?
How can I hide whom I am sharing a file with? I do not want all of the people I am sharing with to be able to see whom ever else I am sharing with.
- 9 years agoA share link, by its nature, is a shared file. People will know it's shared, but not with whom and they can't see that it's shared with anyone else. It's just a link to the file; nothing more.
Just know that ANYONE that has the link can access the file. Anyone that you give the link to can forward it to anyone else.

7 years agoCollaboration is about working with others, which is the entire point of a Shared Folder within the Dropbox environment. It doesn't make sense, in the intended use, to hide the members of a shared folder from one another.

I've seen this repsonse from you in other posts Rich. There's also another important business rule that says 'the customer is king' - and from what I can see there are many customers asking for this change. Which doesn't change the collaboration facility. Not having it is a reason for me to leave Dropbox.
