How can I re-label a Dropbox link?

I want to send links to published papers that I wrote that I have on Dropbox. But I want the link itself to be the reference to the published paper, e.g., if they click on the reference below, it should take them to the PDF of the paper with the same title that I placed of Dropbox.

Todd, Peyton. 1982. Tagging onto red herrings: Evidence against the processing capacity explanation in child language. Journal of Child Language, 9, 99-114.

However, at present the only way I know to do this is to Copy a Dropbox link and paste that into the document from which I want my users to link

to my paper(s). But what gets pasted into the document has only the name of the paper surrounded by opaque information my users will not make sense of. Is there a way I can change this so that what they see, and can click on to go the the paper, is simply a reference to the place the paper was published (along the lines of my example above)?

Thanks,

Peyton Todd

    Not via Dropbox, no.

The only thing i can think of is to embed the links in to the document so it is hidden behind the text.
