How can I retrieve the last thing included in a file, if it is not in the available history?

Yesterday I worked on a word document that days before I had already saved in my dropbox and where I already had information, but it happens that everything written in the document yesterday, is no longer found.

I looked in the file history and there are only 3 available, but in none of them is the missing information.

I work from a Mac Air

What can I do to retrieve the last work in that document?

Thank you very much.

If its not showing on Dropbox then, for whatever reason, it hasn't saved to Dropbox.

If you worked on a computer it should still be where it was last saved, so, try opening Word and going to File -> Open and see if it appears and is in a diff location. Also check to see if Dropbox is syncing on that one device.
