How can I see details on a shared link that has expired?

I sent a link several months back that has since expired.   I am not sure what specific file was shared with this link, so I am trying to figure that out. Is there a what was shared with an expir...

Same. I've created a link and send it to a client months ago. Since the link has expired and the client is asking for a link again but I have not idea what the link was for. 

It says the person who shared the link might be able to add time if you need.... but how? where? how do I find out what the link was to?

    Hey funwin! If the shared link was associated with a specific file on your Dropbox account, the name of the file may be visible in the URL of the shared link. 

    If you want, you can send me a screenshot of your shared link’s URL and I can take a look.
