How to disable Dropbox Backup?
I just allowed DB to backup my folders and now the desktop is a mess. How can I revert to pre backup?

Disable the backup feature.

4 years agoHey ANDRE S.7, it's not really possible to set up Dropbox backup on your D drive; the feature currently only works when Dropbox is installed on the default C: drive.
Would you mind sending over a screenshot of the error you're getting?

To disable your computer backup:
- Open your Dropbox desktop preferences.
- Click the Backups tab.
- Click Manage backup.
- Under Adjust settings, click Disable backup.......step point 3 to point 4: adjust settings & Disable backup > no options

Hey Andre, thanks for this info and the screenshot.
Would you mind sending us a couple more screenshots of what you see, when you follow the steps above.
For example, a screenshot of what you see when you try step no. 2, 3 and 4.
Thanks!
