How to reset my camera uploads, I tried everything

Hi! I need to force the Android app to re-upload all the photos in my gallery.
I set it up so it uploads everything, not just new photos, but it will only upload new items. I believe it recognizes older pics as "already uploaded" and I don't know how to reset this.
I have already:
-re-installed the app
-deleted the cache memory
-deleted all files in the Dropbox camera upload folder
-restarted the device
-even tried from a new device with a different SD card but with the same files in it
Still, Dropbox will only upload new files.

I also tried manually uploading but due to the fíes being cover 1500, the app never stops processing the files and never uploads anything.
I'm on Android 12 and no other apps are set to

Hi dbox_,  I'd also like to reset the server record of all the photos I've uploaded to Camera Uploads please.

I'd like to upload the complete set of photos in heic (assuming with all the metadata) instead of jpeg.

I don't necessarily want to share my email address here though. Can you help?

    Kind regards, N
