I need to go back to the original shared link, every time I save a photo to my iOS mobile app
A friend shares a folder with pictures with me via a Dopbox link.
I’m viewing the pictures in Dropbox and when I like a picture, I want to copy this picture to my Dropbox space and then go on with the rest of the images from my friend’s link.
The problem is that when I click on Copy to Dropbox, I have to select a destination folder each and every time, but most annoyingly, I land on the copied picture instead of on the original one. Thus I have to go back to the email and click again on the link. This happens every time I copy a picture.
Is there some more efficient way how to achieve this?

Hi there galapah - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please clarify your device's OS version and the version of the Dropbox mobile app installed there as well?
Also, are you using the mobile app to do this or a web browser?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.

Thank you for your response. I’m browsing the Dropbox folder on an iPhone (OS v. 17.5.1), Dropbox v. 380.3.2. But I noticed this at least a year ago and I update my software regularly.
Best,
Jan- Nancy

Hey Jan! Hope it’s OK to jump in.
Can you send me a screenshot of what you see after opening your shared link on the mobile app and saving the file to your Dropbox account?
