iMovie uploads saving as an unreadable file

Help! Got loads of content to create today and share and for some reason, when I share from iMovie to dropbox it's stopped working. It saves as an unreadable file so I can't upload to YouTube. Any ideas? (and I know you can share direct to YT from iMovie but my account is not verified so I can't do it this way)

Hi rachaelwoolston, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you uploading from your Mac device or an iOS device?

Are you exporting or rendering a video from iMovie directly to Dropbox? Is this a built-in feature in the iMovie app?

Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

    Hi Jay

I noticed no response on this same question I was going to ask about.

Yesterday & today I am trying to upload an iMovie from my apple phone and it's taking waaaay too long for a 6-minute video to upload. I have had this same issue in the past as well too, and I am the newest iPhone and have a business dropbox plan with plenty of space.    I keep seeing "waiting to upload" and it's about 1/4 of the way uploading from 10 am this morning, it's now 5:43 pm.

Originally I tried to upload from iMovie to Dropbox yesterday and switched to today to the saved video on my pictures (iPhone) and it's the same issue.

    Please HELP

Hi cindibear64, are you connected to a stable, reliable and fast WiFi connection, or via cellular data?

How large is the video you're trying to upload in terms of MB?

Jay, Thanks for these little tips, I was uploading off my Verizon wifi not my spectrum wifi since I left my home today, as soon as I changed it over..it's almost done uploading. I was going to give you the MB amount but honestly "even if it's loading in the background" I found if I use my phone..it slows the process down and I need this video LIVE asap!

I will try this again with my next video and see if it makes a huge difference

Thanks for the update, different networks have different plans and upload speeds. I'm glad to hear it seems to be uploading well.

Keep me informed of any changes or successes!
