Is it possible to share files or directories in Ukraine?

Russia has shut off virtually all social networking applications in Ukraine. If I share a directory with my fiance through Dropbox will she be able to see it? When she gets an email will there be a link inside it to the Dropbox entry? Has anyone sent files or folders to someone in Ukraine?

From various posts I've seen on here it should work. Generate a link and send it yourself via email is probably more likely to arrive than via the Dropbox auto generated ones

Hi srobbins, thanks for contacting us.

As Mark said, it should be possible to share files or folders, though it is always good to test this out and have them open the link from within Ukraine, as it isn't always obvious to see if a domain is blocked or not.

Keep me updated with any progress!

    Hi Jay and Mark

Thank you for the quick turnaround!

The concern I have is that my fiancée doesn't dare try anything because the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) is tracking software usage (she says they're even blocking VPNs now). There are times when she can't even use the phone for a local call. I was hoping that someone had already tried this, and what their results were. If I send her a Dropbox link, she's going to look at it as a threat because of Russia. She uses Gmail because it is always encrypted (so I've been told). If she accepts a Dropbox email, will the file(s) be downloaded as encrypted content or not?

Thanks for listening - sorry, I always get the weird ones...!

Will the rest of the community see our conversation? Maybe someone else has done this recently.
