Leaving a shared folder without notifying the owner

If I leave a shared folder, will the owner of that folder be notified?

    Yes, Evelyn, I'm certain. 🙂

You can test this on your end with a test shared folder, if you want as well.

Hey everlynfrank, thanks for posting your question to the Dropbox Community today!

If you leave a shared folder, the owner will not get a notification about it.

As they can see who has access to the shared folder, though, if they check the "who can access" section, they'll see that you're no longer a member.

But they won't get notified when you leave.

Let me know if you have any questions.
