Running Dropbox 3.0.3 on Mac Yosemite. How can I turn on the little green checkmarks that show all my files are up to date? (The dropbox icon in my tray tells me "Up to date" but I want my desktop ...

    I just ran the dropbox installer and the issue is cleared up for me.  When I clicked on the dropbox icon in the tray, there was a "learn more" button about the issue.  That led me to the dropbox installer solution.
