Not seeing "make online only" upon right-click on windows
Hello! I've been using dropbox for over 10 years with no issues, but recently the "make online only" and the "view locally" options seems to have completely disappeared? The expected behavior is to right-click on a file or folder and the options would be on the list, but I no longer see them. I haven't changed any settings so I'm guessing that some kind of update to dropbox or windows broke it. Any light-shedding is appreciated!
One possible reason for the missing context menu items is that the app wasn't installed with admin privileges.
Could you download the latest version for Windows from here, and then follow these steps to install it as an admin

Hi davelgil, thanks for messaging the Community!
The wording for the online-only/local has changed recently. Now, the options you would see are 'Make available offline' or 'Make online-only'.
Please let me know if you're not seeing these specific options, and also what version of Windows you're using.
This will help me to assist further!

Hi. Thanks for the response! I'm not seeing those options either. I am currently using Windows 10 Pro.

Are any Dropbox options appearing when right clicking a file or folder? Is the Dropbox desktop application running and syncing normally?
Could you attach a screenshot showing your right click options (while hiding any filenames or personal info) to see what you're getting?

These are the options that show up. The only Dropbox option I see is "Send with Dropbox Transfer." Everything else syncs properly. I can see the files on the dropbox website and my colleagues can access the files when I sync them.

That looks to be either a file not in the Dropbox folder, or somehow the app isn't running. Does the file have a sync icon visible on it?

Hi! The files do have a sync icon next to them.

The Dropbox options should appear beneath the separator under Spybot in their own section.
Could you try reinstalling the app, without uninstalling it first, by using this link? Also, if you haven't done so recently, could you also reboot the machine if possible?

Here is a screencap of the whole right-click menu:
I did reinstall without unstalling first. Rebooting, sadly, hasn't helped (I've had the problem for several weeks). - Jay2 years ago

That seems to have done the trick! Thank you so much.
