Can you clarify the exact OS you're using on your end?
Also, does this only happen when you use the Samsung email?
Can you walk me through the steps that you follow, when trying to attach the files from Dropbox to your email, please?

I'm using Android version 14 with the latest updates. I will open an e-mail in the Samsung mail app, click on the paperclip to add an attachment, click on the pdf or jpeg file, a box comes up that says "Creating Link" and the attachment shows up as an HTML file.
As a side note, they attach fine outside of Dropbox and if I use Outlook, I don't have any issues.

Based on everything that you described, it sounds like the app might be creating a shared link when you try to attach a file from Dropbox. Could that be the case there?
I'm assuming that if you save the file locally, it opens without an issue, right?
