Shared links not working anymore

Please help!  We are so frustrated because our audio files in Dropbox no longer work on our website.  This has worked beautifully up until about a week and a half ago.  The shared link no longer work...

HI joycemeyer2007, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

 

Can you please clarify if the shared links are giving you a specific error or if they're just not responding?

 

Did you edit them in the past to have them render in the browser as outlined here perhaps?

 

Any additional information is more than welcome!

The shared links are not giving a specific error.  They just are not responding and appear protected for some reason.  We have not changed anything about the way the audio files are created or uploaded to Dropbox.  They are added to a WordPress website and everything is working fine on this end.  

 

The new share link has a lot added info after the ? that was not there before.

The generated URL has added rlkey= parameter at the end, making the  file not publicly accessible in Dropbox.

    Even with the recent change that has added the rlkey parameter in the URLs of your shared links, you should still be able to edit them by replacing the dl=0 parameter with the raw=1 parameter. 

     

    Have you given this a go perhaps joycemeyer2007?

    this is a problem for me as well.

    I have many audio snippets on my websites and they are now, Nov 23, not working.

    I have changed the code just exactly as it was in my previous audio files and because of the new parameter code is not working.

      mine are not longer working as well.

      this has only been since the new rlkey code has been added.

      Please fix!!
