Sharing link formatting
Is there a way to edit the sharing link when copying it? The extension has symbols after .mp4 and some inputs are reading it as invalid and are not supporting as a regular link ending with .mp4.

3 years agoHey there dinahhh13, thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to the Community!
I'm afraid there's no option to edit your shared links at this time.
That said, could you let us know more about the issue you're facing with their current structure?
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply!
I’m trying to embed a custom video to a website builder through a video element and it only accepts links that end in .mp4 without all the symbols that come after it.
Like Screen-Recording.mp4 is the correct way, but it always generates it like Screen-Recording.mp4?rlkey=8uvok8x9kqbgov4gu6dp1i0gh&dl=0
