Some of my files inside my Dropbox folder show up as zero bytes. Why is that?

- 7 years agoIf it is still syncing, then it means that it isnât up to date yet.Iâd recommend waiting until all your files have finished syncing before attempting to open those files.If it doesnât stop syncing, try an advanced reinstall of the app to see if this resolves the issue.

1 year agoHey robromijnders, can you send me a few more details on this? Do your files appear as 0 bytes across all devices and Dropbox platforms?
What type of files are you having this issue with and when did the issue start for you?

Sorry, issue is fixed, but it took me ten minutes to figure out that there's an GUI option to make appear files as though they are local but they actually aren't. might be worth to improve that
