Unable To Create Share Link To File

I uploaded a new file to an existing folder.  The other files in the folder allow me to create a share link, but the new one gives me this error: "Couldn't copy the link. You don't have permission to...

    Update - I logged out and back in a few hours later, and was able to get the link.  Who knows what happened - anyways, it's working now.
