Unable to upload photos into Dropbox paper

Hi,

I hope someone is able to help. I am struggling to upload photos into Dropbox paper from my 2021 iPad Pro gen 3. Latest software on all. Tried normal install and uninstall. The same applies to trying to insert the photo in the browser.

Photos can be selected to insert, but then won’t insert it into the document.

Best wishes,

Mani

I’m going to try one last time here with the “embed video URL” function. Tagging you Hannah  so that you see this message even if it’s deleted for some reason. 🙂

Hi Dive-Dive-Dive, can you try one last step for me, please?

I'd like for you to open the photos library, and copy the image there. Then try to paste it in Paper.

To copy the photo, you can tab the "..." for the image when previewing it, or when looking at the overview, you can long press, and copy from there.

Megan — I'm happy to report that copy-pasting of an image asset from the camera-roll into the Dropbox Paper app works perfectly.

Only the direct import (from the video) seems to be malfunctioning.

    Hi Everybody,

I have reported this to the appropriate team and confirmed that it is a bug with the iOS paper app. We do not have an ETA on a fix. In the meantime, you can copy & paste image assets as a workaround.

    Regards,

    Ben
