Capacity Question
I have very seldom used dropbox, and even then it was only the basic account. Now I have a need to share some video files that total around 10,000,000 kb. The website is confusing in that it advert...

Basic includes 2GB for free. Plus includes 2TB. You can cancel, but you won't receive a refund. Your subscription would remain active until your next billing period, and at that point it would be downgraded back to Basic. If you only subscribe for a month, it's not a big loss.
