Difference between the storage quantity on my mobile and on my computer
Hi, I just made room on my account storage on my computer. It shows 1,6 Go filled up. But when I access it from my phone, it shows 6,2Go filled up and tells me my account is too full (I have the free...

Hmm, in this case, it seems that you enabled our backup feature for that drive.
Perhaps you agreed to it by accident, the last time you plugged the drive in to your computer.
But now that you deleted the backup, it will no longer take up space in your Dropbox, so you are good to go!

The Dropbox website will show you exactly how much space the files saved to our servers are taking up.
If you see a different size locally, could it be that you used selective sync, to remove some of your folders, so they don't take up your hard drive space?

Hi, tanks a lot for your help...
I didn't use the selective sync option... I just deleted some file from my desktop dropbox...
But those file don't appear online eather... so I'm not sure if that's the problem...
How can I see from Dropbox online the size of each folder ?
Thanks a lot

Not a problem!
Hmm, perhaps the desktop app is still trying to sync the deletions you made.
Can you check the sync status of the application, by hovering over the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar with your mouse?
And you can see how to calculate the size of a folder on our website, by following the steps in this article.
- Floche3 years agoExplorer | Level 4Hi,
I don't have the Dropbox icon on my notification space... I deleted the app from my computer. I'm trying to download it again but I'm having some trouble with my connection...
In the meantime, I calculated the size of each folder from Dropbox online and it adds up to arroud 1,27Go... so why is it still telling me that I have 6,25Go in storage ?
Also, from the page to download the app, before I deleted it... it said the the sync was complete... - Floche3 years agoExplorer | Level 4Hi,

So I don't understand why the the account says I have 6,25Go of storage... - Floche3 years agoExplorer | Level 4Hi.
I downloaded the desktop app again and the icon says it's sync properly.
I calculated the size of each file and it added up around 1.2go... but my account still says I got 5.4go filled up (I deleted a shared folder)
I don't understand...- Hannah3 years ago
