Dropbox full after deleting files and back up
Hi,
My dropbow says my storage is full, but I deleted all my files, so I don't understand why... I have deleted the files of my trash, I checked the pland of my files, the shared files I have represents only 40 Mo of my storage, and I also ckecked my backups and I don't one.
Do you have an idea of how can I restore the availability of my storage ?
Could you try clicking on deleted backups and permanently delete any files or folders that might come up Nate_Fzt ?
This should help get your space back.

Hey Nate_Fzt, thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to the Community!
Could you please let us know what exactly is reported in your plan tab in regards to your quota?
Also, do you see any files or folders taking up space on your homepage or your backups page?
Let us know what you find!

Thank you so much ! Indeed, it was my deleted computer save that was taking all my storage !
- anonymous3 years agoI have the same issue. I clicked on deleted backups and permanently deleted all unnecessary files and folders. Yet, no change in storage capacity. I also read that is takes 8 hours for the system to recycle. However, it’s going day 2. Any ideas?

Hi anonymous, I hope you're doing well!
Have you checked, and made sure there are no shared folders, taking up space in your account? If you did, then feel free to also follow the steps our Community Manager, Emmet provided here.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Hi anonymous, can you send me a screenshot of your plan page, and what you see there in regards to the account's storage?
- anonymous3 years agoMy screen shows 2.4 GB of 3.4 GB. I am no where near that capacity. Do you have access to verify what your screens show?

Hi anonymous, can you kindly calculate your files, and folders using these steps, and send me a few screenshots, demonstrating their size online?
