DropBox storage space usage is different than that reported by MacOS

According to my Mac, the two folders I have syncing to DropBox have a combined size of ~9.54 GB. However, my DB account reports that only 8.89 GB are currently used. The DropBox app on my Mac states ...

All the major files and top level files appear to be in both locations, local and online.
