False Notice of Space Left

I keep getting notifications from Dropbox saying that I am almost out of space, but my actual usage is less than 50% full. How do I stop the messages and turn off the message number on the Dropbox ic...

    Thanks for the added info cm58! 

    The "1" symbol you see there indicates you have an unread notification. It's not a space warning. 

    You can check for the notification by clicking on the icon itself, and make sure all the notifications are up to date.

    Can you give this a go?

Hey cm58, thanks for posting your question here!

Do you receive notifications on the Dropbox desktop application? 

If so, can you open the app's Preferences, and check under the Account tab?

Can you confirm that the Dropbox account linked to the app is the same one you use online? 

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there.

Lori, Thank you for responding. It appears the account is linked correctly. When I click on the account tab I see that I have used 41.3% of my capacity, yet I still have a warning symbol on my Dropbox icon. Anything else I should check?
