I received an email about my space being full and my files deleted - how come?
Hello, i got this email stating i'm over space limit and i must upgrade before a specific date or files MAY be deleted. I guess it's a way to push up to pay for more.. Or not?

"Only files you own will be removed" sounds strange : what does it means?! I mean, files in my dropbox are mine, i guess..?!
For a while = you mean since last update in Sept 2025? That's not so long ago i'd say.. Is this for all accounts or only recent ones? Cause for an old one (few years old/unused) over the limit, i didn't get that mail at all.

25 days agoHey fulldb0924p, just to clarify the "files you own" part, it means that it involves the files you have created or uploaded to your Dropbox account, not shared files added by others.
