The difference in quota is the main factor, since the desktop app should always show the correct quota shown on the site.
However, after reading the message again and translating it, the warning is a year old, so it should no longer be valid.

I have checked my backup page. Can't see that anything is backed up. Here's a screen dump. In Swedish I'm afraid.

Hey CETO, sorry to jump in, but can you clarify where exactly are you getting the notification to upgrade your account?
Is it in the app or via an email perhaps?
Also, what is your account's plan tab reporting in regards to your quota at the moment?

I have the same problem. I deleted all the files and it still shows me the warning
