The difference in quota is the main factor, since the desktop app should always show the correct quota shown on the site.
However, after reading the message again and translating it, the warning is a year old, so it should no longer be valid.

3 years agoHi CETO, the two images don't seem to relate to the same account, since the site is showing the current quota on your account (and would always be the correct version), and it's underquota, when compared to the first image.
Is the Dropbox desktop application from the Dropbox icon in the menu somehow signed into a different Dropbox account?

Hi Jay, as far as I know it's the same account. At least the content is the same wether I look at the desktop or in the web window. What exactly is it that indicates two different accounts?
