Innaccurate Storage Space
Dropbox is claiming that I am using 5.3 GB of 7.38 GB. However, the files in my Dropbox only amount to 526.2 MB. I've checked and downloaded all the files to confirm (see attached screenshot).
I do not have backup enabled, and Dropbox is saying the 5.3 GB is coming from "regular files" (see attached screenshot). I'm not part of any shared folder either.
What is going on here? Where is this 5GB coming from? This seems to be a frequent issue with Dropbox Basic.

Dropbox Staff
Hi there dc05 - thanks for the screenshots and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please take a look at your homepage and let me know how many files and folders you see there?
Also, is there any chance that you selectively un-synced some folders from your computer? Is the Dropbox desktop app on your computer fully synced by the way or still syncing perhaps?
Let me know more information and we'll take it from there.
