Need to upgrade because I'm using more than 2GB but I'm not using the space.
Any ideas you have to help resolve this situation would be helpful. I am using DropbBox at the request of a single client and am not included to upgrade to purchase storage that I am not using.
Thank you!

Look at your Plan page. How much space does it say you're using? Provide a screenshot if you can. It should look like this:

Hi Rich, Thank you for your reply and recommendation. I have attached a screenshot that illustrates that I am only using 217 MB of my 2 GB plan storage, yet I cannot add any more files without upgrading. Thank you!

Are you getting a message when trying to join a share by any chance?
If so the wording on it is bad, always has been. If it says you need 2gb of space to accept the share that means you need 2gb more space than you have - i.e. you'd need 3.8gb of space.
