Hey rforster262, thanks for posting here!
Can you share some additional details as to what's happening with us?
Based on the little info I have, it sounds like your Dropbox space is full. Is it possible that you have a backup on this page running on your account?
What, if any troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Megan,
Sorry about the briefness of my issue.
I'm trying to clean up/purge my full Dropbox, and also my hard drive. I need some way to sort stuff by year, then topic, to start deleting. I also have some old backups that I can't delete anything from (in Dropbox) and need support level 2 apparently, to help me. I"m so stuck. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi rforster262
You can delete backups at http://www.dropbox.com/backups
In terms of files you can do this yourself at http://www.dropbox.com/home OR the Dropbox folders on your computer. There isnt really a way to search by date produced etc. so its going to need to be done manually by you.

Mark Thanks for the reply. I can't delete the backups - there is some kind of protection on them. I'm the solo user - so that's weird.
There is no way that I can sort by date? Is there another way to find the oldest files?
Thanks!

Can you post a picture of the error?

In every folder you can go in and search and sort by using this option. But thats done per folder rather than across the whole account. Advanced Search can also help search for files before or after dates.
