Mark​  Thanks for the reply. I can't delete the backups - there is some kind of protection on them. I'm the solo user - so that's weird.

There is no way that I can sort by date?  Is there another way to find the oldest files?

In every folder you can go in and search and sort by using this option. But thats done per folder rather than across the whole account. Advanced Search can also help search for files before or after dates.
