Not enough storage and missing files after accidentally setting up Dropbox Backup

Hello! I have a client that didn't realize he must've clicked for Dropbox to backup his files, despite having a free account with only 2 GB. Well he got a new computer, and his old drive was cloned...

I will try to do this sometime next week as I am about to head out of town. Thanks for the replies. If there's other suggestions as well, please let me know so we don't have to do too much back and forth. Please leave the thread open and I'll respond asap.
