Space Conflict

Could you post the screenshots for us?

I made a typo, but the point remains Droipbox indicates in one spot I only have 2 GB of storage and in another spot that I have 12.25GB of storage. Here's a screen shot...

I believe what is stated in the statement " Your Dropbox has reached its 2GB storage limit- upgrade now to get 2,000 GB of storage" refers to encouraging you to upgrade to the 2,000 GB plan which is the Dropbox Plus plan as you are nearing your allowed space which is 12.25 GB and you are currently on 11.71 GB . The 2GB is the general or the usual space you will start with a free plan ( Basic Plan 2GB). However, you can get up to 32GB of free space for referrals and other promotions from other partners, in your case, you got extra 10.25 GB on top of your 2GB .  The system just put the generic space 2GB because it is an automated message, not disclosing your specific or actual usage after the free 2GB. I hope this helps clear out the confusion.
