Space used suddenly went up without changes to files

My personal Drobpox account suddently, without any changes in files, went from being 100GB below limit to being 200GB over limit. What happened & what can I do about it?

Thanks. 

I have not enabled backups. The events idea worked. A collaborator had added a massive number of files in a shared folder.
