I managed to delete the Backup files, and it seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks for your help and patience.

2 years agoHi HJL!
I've tried two different devices and networks, and it seems that I can't see any of your screenshots. If you check on your end, are you able to see them attached?

Hi Megan. They are screenshots and they are in the space where I replied to your first message. My other alternative to fix my problem is to completely delete EVERYTHING from my Dropbox account and start new. I have saved what I need to a USB stick and can put it back into the new Dropbox if I need to. However, my attempt in the past to delete Dropbox and then reload, resulted in the new one still having all my old files in it and still saying that I was out of space.

The screenshot we need to see is from your Plan page, showing the usage on your account. It should look like this:

OK. I'll have a look, but I have never seen that particular page. If/when I find it, I'll send you a screenshot.

Here is the screenshot. It is showing that "Backup" is taking up all my space. I have never told it to do a backup. Is there someway to get rid of this backup?
