The total storage used doesn't match the size of files I see under the All files page.

1 month agoHey geoffhart1962, I'd be happy to investigate further.
Can you kindly check your account's plan page, and let me know what it reports? If you can send a screenshot too, that'd be welcome.
It should specify what's taking up your Dropbox quota. Could it be that you have any active Backups?
Lastly, have you tried accessing your home page online, in order to calculate the files and folders you see there?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Here's what I see in my Mac's "get info" window for the DropBox folder:

Apologies for the delayed reply... travel, then home to a work crunch. I have logged into DropBox via my Web browser and selected "All Files". There doesn't seem to be any way to display a total for all the files in "All Files"; I can only display the sizes one file at a time. That being said, a rough estimate of the folder contents suggests that the information that DropBox displays doesn't come close to 10 Gig. That suggests there's an invisible file somewhere. How can I see it?

Hey geoffhart1962!
It looks like other than your regular files you also have some shared content in your account.
Have you tried Helen's steps as shown here?
