.tmp files being created in C:\Program files(x86)\Dropbox\Temp

I have a new computer that came with dropbox installed on it and I had never used it. Recent twice a day (once at 1:08pm and once at 1:08am) I get files in the location in C:\Program files(x86)\Dropb...

Also: the .tmp files are POSIX tar archives.  Here is their contents:

Looks like the update process which fires off multiple times per day. Could it be that the update is failing, possibly because Windows Server is not supported, and each retry is downloading a new update file?

    Thanks, that makes sense.  Looks like disabling these two services  dbupdate, dbupdateem):

    And these two scheduled tasks:

    should, hopefully, address the symptom and buy some time to find an alternative configuration.
