4 files are perpetually syncing on Mac OS, and I can't identify which files

Using Dropbox (version 212.4.5767) on iMac (OS X Ventura). App works fine. But when I pull down the menu from the Dropbox icon in the menu bar, it *always* says "Syncing 4 files" I have no idea wha...

310,380 items are in my dropbox folder

The frustration is that I do not know what four files are involved.

    Hi bachtenor - could you click on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar and then on the 'View sync issues' option?

    Do you see anything reported there?

    Also, have you tried fixing your hardlinks and permissions since you first noticed this?

      Yes, I have already clicked View Sync Issues several times. The only option is “personal” and there are no issues

      Also I reset hard links and permissions several times. No change.

        Hope it’s OK if I jump in too, bachtenor. What I want you to try next is to open your local Dropbox folder and see if there are any files that are currently trying to sync in there. Feel free to also send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing.
