3 months agoI’m sorry to hear about this, redcoatd. I’ve already passed your feedback on this to our team.
If you select the option to free up space on your Dropbox account, to reduce the quota you’re currently using, does the pop-up keep appearing after that?

how on earth could you release such an invasive piece of functionality? As you can see it’s not just me. You should literally fire the PM who dreamt this up and the management who let this get deployed!
please let us know when the hotfix will be deployed to remove this!!

Just for clarification, what happens when you click on the 'Free up storage' option on the prompt?
Is this occurring every time you reboot your machine when the desktop app loads, or are you seeing it on the Dropbox site as well?

Hi Nancy
I occurs every time I reboot my machine - it's such a pain I only reboot if I have to.
Have you all removed it the invasive pop-up yet?
How did something this bad get released?

Hey redcoatd!
Have you tried to free up some of your account's quota to see if the pop-up remains? You'd need to bring your account below its allocated storage, in order for the message to get removed from the desktop app.
