Can I change the PDF viewer in the Dropbox app on iPad?

Is there a way to change/extend the PDF viewer in the Dropbox App for the iPad? When I click on "Open in" in a PDF, it only shows the option of Adobe, but I use want to use the Xodo app. Even when ...

Hi Walter,

Even from the web version on Safari it does not give me any option for an PDF app to open the files from there. I checked the other third party apps but there is again only Adobe in the list, which I do not want to use.

It’s an iPad Air with 18.1.1 OS the app version is 406.2

Hi from me as well, agrosko! I believe connecting Xodo to your Dropbox account would be the way to go, like Walter suggested above. 

Since this is a third-party app though, for which we can’t provide support, I’d suggest checking this with their technical support directly. 

Otherwise, the solution would be to export your files from the Dropbox mobile app, edit them on your iPad with Xodo and then, re-upload them to Dropbox and overwrite the older version of the PDF.
