Team member able to see all of the account's file activity in the desktop app. We don't want this.
Team members are able to see the activity of all members (including admins) on the Desktop Application, especially in the system tray window. The administrator/owner of the account does not want this to be seen.
When moving a file while in preview mode, it still appears in the file list
This was working on Dropbox before but it is not working anymore. You should bring this feature back. So the problem we have is when we move a file from the preview mode. The file moves and get a new location but it is still shown in the preview mode in the mapp it got moved from. It should closed down and you should see the next file in the mapp. The next file in line. Since we started to use Dropbox. For over a year ago it has always been like this. Say you have ten files in a mapp. You open up the first file in the mapp in preview mode. You can see the file and then you have arrows with one of ten. This shows that it is ten files in this particular mapp. Now when you move file number one to another mapp it will move and close down. You will now see the file number two in the mapp in the preview mode. Automatically. But now it will be shown one of nine instead in the mapp because we moved one file. And then you repeat the moving file by file till you get the last file in the mapp. One of one. But now you still see one of ten though you moved all files from the original mapp and it looks like all ten files still are in the mapp. Though they have all been moved to a new mapp. Now you can move all ten files one by one but you still think they are still in the original mapp though they have been moved.
Can I change the PDF viewer in the Dropbox app on iPad?
Is there a way to change/extend the PDF viewer in the Dropbox App for the iPad? When I click on "Open in" in a PDF, it only shows the option of Adobe, but I use want to use the Xodo app. Even when I uninstall Adobe it wants me to install it or won’t open the PDF on the tablet. I have tried installing other PDF readers and none will show up in the list to open the files When I open the files from Xodo directly, I keep creating conflicting copies or it won’t save the changes I have made.Is there a way to run the Dropbox app in the background on my iPhone?
Hey everyone, I just switched to an Android from an iPhone. I am facing a feature problem that I loved on my iPhone! Which is, if I open up an audio file from my dropbox app I can just do other stuff on my phone. On android however, it stops playing whenever I switch over to a different app. Is there a way to let it run in the background just like the iPhone? Thanks!
Is there a way to change the framing color of images on the website?
My question: Is there a way to change the framing color in web view to something neutral like white or grey? The backstory: I always view Dropbox on my iOS app but I had a client complain about artifacting on images delivered (another issue for another thread) so I went to the website to see what they might be seeing. I noticed that all of the images were "framed" with a warm beige-ish color instead of a neutral. This happened in both thumbnail views as well as individual image view. The client also complained that the images weren't warm enough. I am concerned that the warm color framing the photos changes their perception of how warm they are. I edit all my images with a neutral framing color (whether that is white, black or grey) so it is as versatile and accurate as possible.
