Can't drag and drop to some (but not all) folders that have been copied to the Finder Sidebar

I am unable to copy to my Desktop folder or my Documents folder on when they are on my Finder Sidebar.  I am running a Mac with Sonoma 14.1.12.   When I click on my Desktop folder or my Documents...

Hi there User9595 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

 

It sounds like you have enabled the Dropbox Backup feature for your computer's Documents and Desktop folders - could you confirm if that's the case indeed? Do you see them listed in your backups page?

 

If you could also let me know the desktop app's version and status on your computer as shown in your menu bar,  I'd appreciate it.
