Dropbox folder missing from Locations section in Finder Sidebar
Hi,
I am working on a Mac Studio (2023) running macOS Sonoma. 14.14.1. (screenshot 01).
I am working with an Up to Date version of Dropbox. Dropbox 196.4.6900 (screenshot 02).
This Dropbox folder can be found in the Finder's folder 'CloudStorage' (screenshot 03).
I have Cloud Storage ticked ON in the Finder Sidebar settings (screenshot 04).
However, unfortunately I can't see the Dropbox folder in the Sidebar of Finder, under the section 'Locations'. (screenshot 05).
I wish to see the Dropbox folder in the Locations section, just like Google Drive.
I was hoping anyone could help!

Hey jvdnieuwendijk - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you sign out of the desktop app, quit and relaunch it after rebooting your computer and let us know if this persists?
Thanks so much!

Hi Walter,
Thank you for your quick reply.
I had tried logging out from Dropbox, rebooting, and logging back in Dropbox, without luck.
However, I had not tried a full system shut down after logging out of Dropbox. This did the trick; the folder appeared back in the Locations section of the Finder sidebar!
Thanks again!
Very best,
