Hello, thank you for replying to my question. I am on a different device now turned off my VPN . My dropbox files that I’ve uploaded. I’m not sharing them with anybody until they organize my files in their categories so I’ve been just really basically learning as much as possible and I just wanted to know if I should have a VPN on or off with when working with Dropbox thank you for taking the time to helping me

That's entirely up to you. It's not required but also doesn't hurt anything. At most, you may get notifications from Dropbox saying that they've detected an unrecognized sign in to your account, especially if your VPN uses multiple locations for exit nodes. To Dropbox, that will appear as though you're signing in from different locations.
