Dropbox became very slow and freezes after iOS 12 update
After the update to iOS 12 on my iPhone 7 Dropbox started to behave really bad. It freezes very often, minutes of charging time to just show me a portion of the files in the folder I’m working on. Already deleted the app-restarted the phone-reinstalled the app but nothing has changed. It’s impossible to use it via app. On the seme device I can use it via browser and it works perfectly as in the past.

Quick update on this: it appears that this primarily affects users with many (at least 25 or so) starred files. We have identified the cause and fixed the issue.
The fix will be in Dropbox for iOS v120, going out early next week (around Nov 6).
Thank you very much to those of you who wrote in and contributed by giving detailed descriptions of the issue, and extra thanks to those who sent in videos and crash logs.

Hey there AwpDk and everyone affected by this (users on iOS 12+ with more than 25 starred files) - thanks for your reports and patience on this matter.
I am just writing to let you know that this update is now live and you should be able to download it from your iPhone's (or iPad's) app store. If you don't see it right away, please try again in a few hours.
Thanks again for you diligence and have a wonderful week ahead!
- AwpDk8 years agoExplorer | Level 4Great to hear. Just letting you know that it hasn’t reached the appstore here in Denmark yet. Looking forward to it though. :-)
